Six independents in the Lyon area · Paris and worldwideCorporate video in Lyon: what it costs, what it takes, what it delivers
A turnkey corporate film costs €3,500 at Collective Efficiency: writing, one day of filming, editing, graphics, music. Allow three to five weeks between the first conversation and delivery. What follows details each step, and what makes a film actually useful.
How much does a corporate film cost?
- €1,800
- for a short format: 30 seconds to 2 minutes, half a day of filming, one message, one location.
- €3,500
- for a complete corporate film: company presentation, portrait, customer testimonial. One day of filming, several speakers or several spaces, graphics and music.
- €6,500
- for a full setup: the main film plus its short cuts, several days or several sites, motion design, formats adapted to each release channel.
What moves a quote: the number of filming days, the number of locations, whether there is an actor or a voice-over, the scale of the animation, travel. What does not move it: the quality of the equipment, which is the same everywhere.
How long does a corporate film take?
Three to five weeks in all, on an ordinary calendar.
One week for scoping and writing, once the quote is signed. One day of filming. One to two weeks of editing up to the first cut. Then your revisions: two rounds are included, each turned around within three working days.
A shorter deadline is possible, and gets said at the first conversation. A film for a trade show in ten days can be done; it is just prepared differently.
What makes a good corporate film?
A film that has a recipient. The question that decides everything is not “what do we want to show” but “who is going to watch it, and when”.
A film looping on a trade-show stand is not built like a film emailed to a prospect, which is not built like a film posted on LinkedIn. The first has no sound, the second is allowed two minutes, the third has to hold its first six seconds.
The rest follows: the framing, the light, the pace of the edit, the length. We ask that question at the first conversation, and the quote follows from it.
What does a day of filming in a company look like?
A typical day: we arrive an hour early, set up, then shoot location by location rather than in the order of the film, so the equipment only moves once. Interviews come first thing, while faces are still fresh.
What we ask of you: someone from your side reachable on site, access to the premises, and letting your teams know that filming is taking place. What we bring: cameras, lights, sound, and the image-rights release to be signed.
Your teams do not have to act. The best sequences are people doing their job while we film.
And after delivery?
You receive the film in the formats you need: 16:9 for your website and YouTube, vertical for social media, a subtitled version, a version without burned-in text if you plan a translation.
Source files are archived for six months. A re-edit during that period costs less than a new shoot, and that is often what happens when a film works.
